Alquip Pty Ltd is an Australian owned and operated manufacturer of quality Aluminium Access Equipment. A respected name within the building industry and associated trades, Alquip is located in Toowoomba, Queensland. All Alquip products comply with Australian safety standards and are distributed locally, nationally and internationally.

As a small business who were about to experience a significant growth phase, Alquip began their search for an ERP solution that would suit their requirements back in January 2000.
     Alquip reflects back on this time. "We were a business who in 2000 had a total of 9 employees. We knew the time had arrived where we needed to invest in a system that accommodated our future vision, and provided the foundation we would need to streamline our business process. Enterprise Resource Planning was just starting to make its mark, Axapta was new to Australia and we were instantly attracted to this innovative product.”

It was at this time Alquip met the team from Moore Stephens Technology Australia (MSTA).

With 20 concurrent users, each with the ability to run multiple sites online, we have changed our internal business culture and dramatically improved business process from our administration and marketing to manufacturing and stock control”, explains Alquip.

To ensure a successful implementation MSTA took the time to learn and fully understand Alquip’s business and business model. It was important that Alquip selected the modules they would benefit from most during the first phase of implementation. By installing the application modules of General Ledger, Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable, Bills of Material and Inventory during phase one they were able to ensure the 5 users at the time were brought fully up to speed with the new system. Today Alquip has grown to a 20 user license with 8 companies within the group using Axapta functionality and the additional modules of Fixed Assets, Projects, CRM, Master Planning and Production 1.
