Moore Stephens Technology Australia – supporting Fleetrisk Technologies

Fleetrisk Technologies is a private company which specialises in fleet risk management.
As independent third party administrators they combine a range of services to offer a cost effective and integrated approach to manage motor vehicle claims and loss control. Established in 1995, Fleetrisk are a company who have increased market share by implementing clever technology and automating the business rather than expanding human resources. Fleetrisk operate nationally and internationally across Australia and New Zealand.
In 2000 Fleetrisk’s management reassessed the financial and database aspects of the business and identified a need to fully integrate the entire range of the business into one application and platform. With the core of the Fleetrisk business involved with collating vendor information and representing this to customers, Fleetrisk need to ensure their database systems can be available for customers to view and audit Fleetrisk as part of their corporate assurance programs.

“Fleetrisk identified Axapta as the product with the most potential....”

Following research of existing products in the market and considering the option to build the product using internal resources, Fleetrisk identified Microsoft Business Solutions-Axapta as the product with the most potential to achieve the desired outcome for the company.
Fleetrisk’s implementation story is a long and detailed one, however, after working with several implementation service providers who failed to deliver, Fleetrisk were introduced to Moore Stephens Technology Australia (MSTA).
“MSTA was recommended to us; we liked their methodology and were impressed that they had a team of experts with a high level of experience and product knowledge. We needed to utilise the software in a way that would empower the business to operate with a fully automated process.
MSTA helped us take the business in the direction we wanted it to go. Of particular importance to us was the input regarding module selection and functionality, MSTA have been the reference point from which we could bounce ideas throughout the decision making process,” said Iain Herbert, Fleetrisk Director.

“....we have empowered the business so it is fully automated.”

“We no longer need to worry about scale. We have increased our business capability so that instead of managing a call centre and large number of employees we have empowered the business so it is fully automated. The freeway for Fleetrisk is in place – we are now ready for the traffic and increase in business.

Our office has become paperless. We are unique in the industry as we are committed to digital copy, whether received via fax, post, email or even picture or sound files these are all stored as part of the application we have designed using Axapta functionality,” explained Iain.

Fleetrisk’s Deciding Factor

“The deciding factor in us selecting MSTA to support our ongoing needs was their commitment to build a broad organization with sufficient knowledgeable personnel to support the Axapta product. We have been impressed by Moore Stephens’ excellent support and their willingness to discuss the products future (not always to their benefit).
This has provided valuable insights into future releases of the software and allowed us to pursue sensible internal development paths and upgrade strategies.”
